TFirst , I will introduce myself .I am from No.11 Middle School. You can call me Miss wang.. I am very glad to give you a class. Are you ready? OK, class begins.

S: Yes.

T : Good afternoon ,boys and girls.

S: Good afternoon.

T: Review the Job Wanted to learn the new words. Then review the other jobs and do some exercises to warm them up.

                                                  

T: I’m a teacher now, but when I retire, I want to be a cook because I like delicious food. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Ss: A teacher. / A doctor.

T: “I want to be a cook.” is another way of saying “I’m going to be a cook.” Today we are going to learn Unit 10 I’m going to be a basketball player. Section A 1a1c.

 

Learn the grammar“be going to” and practice.

T: Look at “is going to”. What’s the meaning?

Ss: 打算,将要。

T: OK. What tense is it?

Ss: 一般将来时。

T: This Sunday I’m going to watch a movie. What are you going to do? (Ss can answer freely.)

T: I’m tired. I’m going to relax myself. If you’re tired, what are you going to do? (Ss can answer freely.)

T: OK. Let’s practice “be going to”.

Learn the new drills.

T: When I retire, I’m going to to be a cook. What are you going to be when you grow up?

Ss: I’m going to be a/ an……. (Ss can answer freely.)

T: If I want to be a good cook, I’m going to take cooking lessons. If you want to be a teacher, how are you going to do that?
